UPDATES
***********************************
Good morning execs,
The good news is that we moved to a new office on 34th and 9th, (440 9th avenue, b/w 34th and 35th street), in New York City.
The bad news, your Report is late one day. It's been a hectic two weeks to say the least, which you can read about today in the EXECUTIVE LIFE Report.
They really do find every which way to get every cent out of you, those nutty office brokers. But generally, I'm happy. It's a temp location, so works ideally with our needs.
In addition, we've also hired 7 new associates, with 7 more in upcoming weeks. Yes, the economy is really getting better.
After two years of reading this publication, if you haven't called me to talk some business, maybe now's as good a time as any.
This Thursday, December 4th, at 5:45pm, al berrios & co. Events is hosting another Employee Panel Series focused on career development for new and prospecting job seekers featuring Stan Kravitz (back by popular demand), executive at Metropolitan Temporaries (who's interviewed over 12,000 candidates during his career) and Barbara Spencer, Director of Recruiting for Human Capital Solutions at HR consultancy Resources Connection. The event will be hosted at Baruch College's Vertical Campus Building on 24th and Lexington Avenue in New York City (right off the 6 train), room 14-266 on the 14th floor. As always, admission is free. Reply to RSVP. If you can't figure out how to mange your career after this panel, then you're unfortunately going to have to start paying for counseling.
Finally, I'd like to invite you to a 1-hour beginner's seminar for web entrepreneurs and other interested small business owners which will introduce attendees to Website Psychiatry. The seminar will take place next week on Thursday, December 11th, starting at 5:30pm at Baruch College's Vertical Campus Building on 24th and Lexington Avenue in New York City (right off the 6 train), room 14-220 on the 14th floor. Our instructors for this event will be my good friends Jane Tabachnick and Jackie Bivens, creators of the 6-point Website Psychiatrist methodology. I recommend entrepreneurs that want to affordably manage their own web presence to attend. Admission is free. Reply to RSVP. Visit http://www.websitepsychiatrist.com for more info.
Correction: In the Report, "al berrios & co. Executive Panel Series featuring Mahesh Krishnamurti, Publisher Worth Magazine, CFO Worth Media and Jorge Cano-Moreno, Publisher/Founder, Urban Latino Media: 'The Business of Magazine Publishing'", Mr. Krishnamurti was incorrectly cited as the Publisher of Worth Magazine and CFO of Worth Media. He is the former publisher and CFO.
Enjoy your
REPORT!
